Out now: 'Requiem' by All Men Unto Me
News Story
Composer, vocalist and long-time Paraorchestra member Rylan Gleave has just released Requiem, his second album as All Men Unto Me.
Requiem blends Rylan's vocals with myriad influences from doom metal to traditional Anglican soundscapes, reflecting on what Rylan describes as "patriarchal power systems and the conditions of transmasculinity within them, through the haze of Queer reverence and forgiveness."
Requiem was selected for the PRS Foundation New Music Biennial 2025, which saw All Men Unto Me perform a showcase of tracks from the album at the Loading Bay in Bradford and Queen Elizabeth Hall at Southbank Centre, London.
This live iteration of the All Men Unto Me project - created with support from the Paraorchestra Alumni Fund and the PRS Foundation’s Talent Development Network - consists of a six-piece band featuring Paraorchestra members Simone Seales and Oliver Vibrans amongst others. Together, they create visceral re-orchestrations of Requiem complete with creative captioning by Tobias Holmbeck.
