About Death Songbook
Suede's Brett Anderson, Charles Hazlewood, and Paraorchestra unite for a beautifully moving, quietly devastating, yet deeply comforting concert experience.
Together they perform cult songs about grief, loss, and love, made famous by music icons including Echo and the Bunnymen, Japan, Depeche Mode, and, of course, Suede.
Ivor Novello award-winning composer Charlotte Harding has boldly reimagined each song for our orchestra, infusing them with new meaning and emotion.
Death Songbook has sold out major venues including Wales Millennium Centre, London’s Roundhouse, and Aviva Studios, Manchester with special guest appearances from Nadine Shah and Gwenno.
Originally created for BBC Cymru, it has been broadcast on Sky Arts and, in April 2024, was released as a full-length album on BMG's World Circuit label.
