Giles Gibbons - Chair

Giles Gibbons is one of Europe’s leading thinkers on the evolving role of organisations in creating a stronger society for us all. For two decades, he has inspired and advised some of the world’s biggest names, to understand, innovate and act on the opportunity to spark social change. Giles is the Founder and CEO of Good Business, a strategy consultancy that works with organisations to be more progressive, and is working with some of the world’s most innovative foundations in delivering their programmes globally.

Clarence Adoo

Clarence’s career spans several decades and all forms of music, working with Royal Northern Sinfonia, Scottish Opera, City of London Sinfonia, London Sinfonietta and Bournemouth Sinfonietta and Symphony Orchestra. Despite a car accident which has left him paralysed from the shoulders down, Clarence retains a role with the Royal Northern Sinfonia as Education Animateur. He is a founder member of the British Paraorchestra and a member of the Headspace quartet.

Rylan Gleave

Rylan Gleave is a classically trained composer and vocalist working now in experimental and divergent fields. He explores intersectional marginalised identity in interdisciplinary collaboration, and draws on the timbres of his late-breaking trans-masc voice in various performance styles. Rylan is a member of Paraorchestra, JACK Studio, Ashenspire, and The Musician’s Company, and serves on the ABRSM Music Education Advisory Committee, and the Board of New Music Scotland. He has written for the Royal Philharmonic Society's Composers Programme, and Sound and Music's New Voices Programme, and is one of Paraorchestra’s Musicians in Residence 2022.

Jenny Grey

Jenny has a 30 year career advising some of the largest organisations in the world in communications, change and managing talent. Currently, Global Head of Culture and Talent Transformation at Citigroup, Jenny was previously Executive Director of Government Communications, leading from the heart of the UK government through economic and national security crises and championing campaigns to promote Britain overseas. Prior to that she led policy, advocacy and communications teams in Cancer Research UK and the NHS.

Kate Marsh

Kate is a disabled/Crip artist researcher. Kate’s practice-research specifically explores creating space for disabled/Crip and other marginalised artists. An Assistant Professor at C-DaRE she is formerly a performer with Candoco Dance company and guest performer with Paraorchestra, Fin Walker and Graeae Theatre Company. Kate has co-produced 3 films exploring the experience and perception of disabled artists, widely disseminated in the UK and internationally. Her academic work focusses on film as an impactful output for research. Recently Kate co-curated two short texts In Other Words 1 & 2 which bring together contributions from marginalised artists reflecting on their experience of the global pandemic.

Louise Mitchell

Louise Mitchell was appointed in 2011 as Chief Executive of the Bristol Music Trust, an independent charitable trust set up that year to drive forward music in Bristol and to manage Bristol Beacon, helping secure a sustainable future for the venue. Louise is also a Board member of the Association of British Orchestras and Destination Bristol; a Trustee of the Royal Philharmonic Society; a Royal Society of Arts Fellow and a director of the British Association of Concert Halls.

Kevin Satizabal

Kevin Satizabal is a pianist, composer, radio producer and digital communications professional. As a soloist and member of Paraorchestra and The Inner Vision Orchestra, Kevin has performed at leading concert venues such as the Wigmore Hall and the Southbank Centre in London, Bristol Beacon, Bridgewater Hall and the Royal Opera House in Mumbai. He has worked in Digital Communications for Thomas Pocklington Trust, LOOK UK and the Royal Society for blind Children. Kevin is currently a trainee radio producer at the BBC.
