About The Virtuous Circle
Co-directed by Charles Hazlewood and Kyla Goodey, The Virtuous Circle recasts the traditional classical concert as an electrifying deep-dive into Mozart’s 40th symphony.
In this vivid immersive work, we perform Mozart’s iconic symphony on the move, combining with dancers in exhilarating choreography by Tom Jackson Greaves. A new commission by Ivor Novello award-winning composer and Paraorchestra member Oliver Vibrans abstracting the DNA of Mozart's masterpiece into vivid new forms.
This spellbinding show invites your audiences to the heart of the action to experience the perfect symbiosis of our orchestra – the ultimate virtuous circle – in breathtaking detail.
The Virtuous Circle premiered at Bristol Beacon for the BBC Proms in August 2024.
