Road closures

We will be using a rolling road closure for the performance which will be managed by a traffic management company. The roads along the route will be closed a short time before the SMOOSH! parade arrives and will reopen once the procession has passed. The roads will not be closed for any longer than is necessary and access will be available for emergency vehicles at all times. If this impacts you, please follow the diversion or park up nearby for a few minutes until the parade has passed. If residents require vehicle access to their property during the show, and are unable to wait, they will be able to do so and the Traffic Management Company will liaise with the event staff to ensure this is done safely.

Noise levels

While the parade is happening there will be some noise, but we will not be using any amplifiers and we hope you’ll enjoy the music. If you have any concerns about the noise on the day you can contact the team on 07950278068 this phone will be manned between 3pm-7:30pm on the 17th September. Filming and photography will be taking place throughout the event.

COVID-19

We hope you’ll join us from your doorsteps and pavements to dance and sing along with us. Please be mindful that due to Covid-19 the performers are required to socially distance, and please don’t attend the event if you are showing any symptoms of covid or have been asked to isolate.
